Broward County Library Marketing Wins National Recognition

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Library received six MarCom Awards for creative, effective marketing and communications projects that promoted the library's services and resources. 

Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the MarCom Awards is an international competition  honoring excellence in marketing and communication. 

Broward County Library received one Platinum Award, the MarCom's highest level of recognition, and five Gold Awards, the next highest, for the following projects: 

Platinum Award

  • Freegal Quest CampaignAdvertising/Campaign: From March-May 2025, the library launched a successful multi-channel campaign promoting the library's Freegal streaming music service that resulted in  a 154% increase in new users.

"We are incredibly honored to receive six marketing awards, as they validate our team's tireless efforts to connect the library's vital resources and programs with the community we serve," said Broward County Library Director Allison Grubbs. "These accolades are a testament to our commitment to innovative outreach and demonstrate the profound impact a modern library can have when we effectively communicate our value to every resident."
