BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Animal Care, the County's official pet adoption and animal welfare agency, invites residents to take advantage of its upcoming Pet Wellness Clinic on Friday, May 23, from 10AM to 2PM at the agency's satellite facility located at 3100 NW 19th Terrace, Pompano Beach. Broward County resident pets are eligible for free rabies vaccinations, microchips, and affordable on-the-spot pet registration. Pre-registration is available online. While pre-registration guarantees service, it does not guarantee a specific time slot. All services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

"This clinic is part of our ongoing commitment to making pet health services accessible and affordable to all Broward County residents," said Doug Brightwell, Director of Broward County Animal Care. "We're here to serve our community and help ensure pets stay safe, healthy, and protected."

In addition to free services, pet owners can also license their pets onsite and participate in the new Tags for Life program:

  • $25 for microchipped pets
  • $55 for non-microchipped pets

Animal Care's Pet Wellness Clinic is open to all Broward County residents. Dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in carriers. No cash or check payments will be accepted - credit card payments only.
