BROWARD
COUNTY, FL - Public
Works' Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing drainage
system cleaning, inspection, and small repairs in the Franklin Park
Neighborhood, located in the Broward County Municipal Services District. This work, funded
by the transportation surtax, is scheduled to start March 17, and be
completed in June 2025, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays.
The project will initially focus on interior streets within the designated area, with
minimal impacts to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Driveways and sidewalks
will be accessible throughout the duration of the project.

About Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division:
The
Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division maintains and improves the County's highway/street system, operates
drawbridges, and oversees mosquito control operations. The Division is
responsible for cleaning and mowing rights-of-way, street patching and
resurfacing, intersection improvements, canal maintenance and construction,
guardrail maintenance, bridge maintenance, street cleaning, and stormwater
drainage improvements.
