BROWARD
COUNTY, FL - Public Works' Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing repairs on the existing sidewalk and ADA-accessible pedestrian curb
ramps along Broward Boulevard from Hiatus Road to University Drive in Plantation. Work will begin Monday, February 24, and conclude August 29, 2025, barring any unforeseen conditions and/or weather delays.
During construction in
off-peak hours (9AM to 4PM), one lane will be closed to vehicular traffic. Access to some driveways and sidewalks
will be affected for one or two days, and pedestrian traffic will be detoured to
use sidewalks across from the work zone. Variable message signs will be posted to advise affected motorists and
pedestrians.
Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division can be reached at 954-357-6040 and Project
Manager Felix Garcia can be reached at 954-299-9956 or fegarcia@broward.org.
