Broward County, FL - Broward County Library's, free, all-ages ArtLit 2025 festival celebrates the culture of China with an amazing day of art, music and community, scheduled from 10:30AM to 3:30PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at North Regional/Broward College Library, 1100 Coconut Creek Boulevard, Coconut Creek, FL 33066.
ArtLit 2025 features hands-on cultural, creative and artistic interactive experiences along with this year's NEA Big Read book selection, To Live by Yu Hua, and Director's Book Club January 2025 selection, Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See.
"ArtLit 2025 brings us together as a community to explore one another's cultures and traditions with great literature as a springboard," said Broward County Library Director Allison Grubbs. "It's a wonderful way to learn, engage and honor one another. I am delighted to showcase the richness of Chinese culture."
Enjoy live music and dance performances, Chinese crafts and games, food trucks, giveaways, vendors, photo ops, book discussions, puppetry and more, including free face painting and other activities just for kids. Admission, parking and all ArtLit 2025 activities are free, but registration is requested.
The NEA Big Read is a nationwide literacy initiative that encourages shared reading experiences in communities with the goal of inspiring meaningful conversations, celebrating local creativity and building stronger connections within the community.
