Broward County Library Presents Free Summer Learning Program

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Get ready for a summer filled with fun, excitement and learning at Broward County Library's free, all-ages "Adventure Begins at Your Library" Summer Learning Program, taking place from June 1st through August 10th, 2024.

The Library's 2024 Summer Learning Program features dazzling events, prizes and free entertainment for children, teens and adults, beginning with the kick-off event, the 19th Annual Children's BookFest, on Saturday, June 1st from 10AM-3PM at Northwest Regional Library, 3151 N University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33065. 

"Adventure Begins at Your Library" with adventure-themed workshops, programs and classes. Along with exciting books, attendees will discover wellness, art, travel, science, trivia contests, crafts and musical and theatrical productions.

Imaginative and entertaining library adventures centered upon nature, culture and technology await with Flamingo Gardens, Marine Environmental Education Center, Miami Children's Museum, Fusho Daiko Taiko Drummers, This Is Improv, Clay Kings, Museum of Graffiti, Young at Art, Mad Science of Palm Beach County, Fantasy Theatre Factory, Feeding South Florida, Morikami Museum and others.

Spend an adventurous summer winning prizes for reading, learning and showing up. Beginning May 1st, readers of all ages who register for the Summer Learning Program can participate in summer challenges and become eligible to win great prizes from community partners such as Florida Panthers, Museum of Discovery and Science, Bluefoot Pirates Adventures, Wyndham Deerfield Beach, Sawgrass Recreation Park, Water Taxi, Jungle Island, Xtreme Action Park, Zoo Miami, Frost Science Museum, Pines Ice Arena and more. Grand Prize Raffle Drawings will be held June 1st, July 1st, August 1st and August 10th.
