BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Transit (BCT) will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new $7.3 million state-of-the-art Miramar Park & Ride located along the east side of Hiatus Road between Pembroke Road and Miramar Boulevard in Miramar on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 10AM. Broward County Commissioners, County Administration, Transportation, County Directors and Staff, City of Miramar officials and representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will help celebrate the occasion. 

This new facility is a partnership between BCT, the City of Miramar and FDOT and will support the I-95 Express Service to downtown Miami and Brickell. It will accommodate 442 cars (including ADA spaces), 28 oversized vehicles and 18 buses. There will be two dedicated bus bays, six extra-large transit shelters with solar-powered lighting, 911 cell towers and on-site Security. 

In keeping with BCT's commitment to providing clean, eco-friendly facilities and transportation, this new facility also incorporates green technology.

The new Miramar Park & Ride will officially open to the public on Monday, April 17, 2023.
