Military Trail Drainage Improvements Set for Deerfield Beach

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing drainage system and pavement improvements along Military Trail in Deerfield Beach between Sample Road and Crystal Lake Drive. The work is expected to start on April 3, 2023, and conclude on July 19, 2023, barring any unforeseen conditions and/or weather delays. 

During construction, one travel lane will be closed, however, at least one travel lane in each direction of Military Trail will be open to traffic. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Variable message signs will be posted to advise affected motorists and pedestrians.

About Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division 
The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division maintains and improves the County's highway/street system, operates drawbridges, and oversees mosquito control operations. The Division is responsible for cleaning and mowing rights-of-way, street patching and resurfacing, intersection improvements, canal maintenance and construction, guardrail maintenance, bridge maintenance, street cleaning, and stormwater drainage improvements.
