BROWARD
COUNTY, FL - The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will begin resurfacing a stretch of Commercial Blvd.
between Nob Hill Rd. and the Sawgrass Expressway in Sunrise and Tamarac on
Sunday, April 24, 2022. The work includes adding new bike lanes. Completion is
expected by June 7, 2022, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays.
Nightly closures will
be in effect during off-peak traffic hours, from 8 PM to 6 AM Sunday night
through Friday morning. At least one lane in each direction of Commercial
Boulevard will be open to traffic, and access to businesses and driveways will
be maintained. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Variable
message signs have been posted to warn affected motorists.
