BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Are
you a couch potato or maybe an avid runner? Whether you exercise at dawn or binge
watch TV all day, Broward County Animal Care can match you with the perfect pet
based on your lifestyle during the "PlentyofPets" adoption event. It'll be held Saturday,
February 12th, from 11AM to 5:30PM at Animal Care. The event will feature pet-related
educational exhibits and prizes. Adoption fees for dogs and cats will be waived. During the event, each adoptable pet will be identified with its personality
type which could be anything from "Class Clown" to "Intellectual." Adopters will
then be matched with the pet that best fits their particular lifestyle. To help
visitors decide which pet is best, dog playgroups and activities will also be
featured.
"A perfect adoption really comes down to perfect matchmaking,"
said Emily Wood, Director, Animal Care. "At our PlentyofPets event, our adoptable dogs will be showcased based
on their personalities, not just name and age. These personality matches ensure that both the adopter
and pet live happily ever after!"
Broward County Animal
Care is located at 2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale. Adopters can visit Broward.org/Animal to preview all
available pets. Each adoptable dog and cat pet is spayed/neutered; vaccinated,
and microchipped. A Broward County
license tag is also included.
