BROWARD COUNTY, FL
- The County's Tax Collector's Office is offering the outdoor Tax Express Drop-Off service again this year for property tax payments
on Wednesday, November 24th from 10AM to 4PM. Payments can be made outside the west entrance of the
County's Governmental Center East Annex Building at 115 S. Andrews Ave., in Fort
Lauderdale. The west entrance of the Annex Building is accessible from the
parking lot on Brickell Ave. There will be signs to the Tax Express Drop-Off table, where County staff
wearing official shirts and badges, will be on hand to collect tax payments. Payments via this service are permitted by
check only and must be accompanied with your current tax bill. Other payment methods can be
found on the website. To submit payments via the Tax Express Drop-Off Service, residents must comply with the following criteria. - Payments must be made by check only (personal or certified). Cash or credit card payments will not be accepted at the Tax Express Drop-Off. All checks must be in U.S. funds, issued by a U.S. bank account.
- Payments must be for current 2021 tax bills only. Delinquent tax payments will not be accepted at the Tax Express Drop-Off. You must have your 2021 current tax bill with you
- Only full payments of the 2021 tax bill will be accepted. No partial payments will be accepted.
- All County staff will be following all COVID-19 guidelines including the use of face masks for this service, and ask that customers visiting the Governmental Center East follow all of the COVID-19 precautionary measures for in-person services found at Broward.org/Coronavirus.

way to pay your tax bill, visit Broward.County-taxes.com and make an online payment by
eCheck, credit or debit card. Payments by eCheck are free; payments by credit
or debit card are charged an online convenience fee. County tax payments can also be made at any Wells Fargo Bank in Broward County
with a copy of your tax bill. All property taxes not paid
by April 1, 2022, become delinquent and subject to additional interest and fees.
About Broward County's Records, Taxes and
Treasury Division Records,Taxes and Treasury (RTT) serves as the County's tax
collector, provides treasury services, and is the statutory repository for the
Official Records of the County. The Division, part of the Finance and
Administrative Services Department, collects residential and commercial property
taxes, local business taxes, tourist development taxes, and other taxes on
behalf of various authorities. The Division also records documents into the
County's official Land Records, ensures compliance with Florida law relating to
the preparation, accessibility, retention, and disposal of public records,
provides Clerk to the Board functions including official County Commission
minutes, agendas, and depository for county ordinances, resolutions, and the
administrative code. RTT serves as an agent for the Florida Department of
Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to register and title vehicles, mobile homes,
and vessels, and issue disabled parking permits, provides passport application
services, and serves as an agent for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission to issue hunting and fishing licenses.
