Let Your Voice Be Heard in the Redistricting Process

- First of six public meetings set for Thursday in Miramar -

BROWARD COUNTY The first public meeting to engage the community in the redistricting process will take place on Thursday, September 23 at 7PM. Every 10 years following the Census, state law requires the County to redraw political district boundaries to account for population shifts and ensure equal representation. The first of six meetings (five in-person, one virtual) will be held Thursday at the Miramar Town Center City Hall, 2300 Civic Center Place, Miramar 33025. Residents are invited to submit their own community-drawn maps for consideration. Masks are required.

For anyone who does not wish to attend a meeting in person, there will be a virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 29. The community is also welcome to submit comments via email to redistricting@broward.org. More information and a list of additional meetings is available at Broward.org/redistricting.
