BROWARD COUNTY, FL – The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing bridge improvements on NW 19th Street from NW 47th Avenue to NW 46th Avenue in Lauderhill. The project entails repairing existing bridge, guardrail and sidewalk and placing new asphalt. Work will start on February 10, 2020 and will conclude on or before June 10, 2020, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather delays. This project is funded by the gas tax.

During construction, only one lane (westbound or eastbound) will be closed to vehicular traffic during non-peak traffic hours. Traffic will be maintained using a flagging operation. Access to driveways will be maintained and pedestrian traffic will be safely diverted. Variable message signs will be posted to warn affected motorists.
