Senior Red & White Ball Celebrates 10th Anniversary

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – This year the annual Senior Red & White Ball celebrates a milestone - a decade of offering an evening of dinner, entertainment, and other social activities for ages 50 and up. The popular event, hosted by the Broward Municipal Services District through the Parks and Recreation Division’s neighborhood parks, will take place from 6:30 to 9PM on Friday, February 7th, at the Urban League of Broward County (560 NW 27th Ave., Fort Lauderdale 33311), which has been the ball’s home for the past seven years.

Attendees are encouraged to wear red and/or white attire that is in keeping with this year’s theme, “Soul Train Party.” As always, admission is free, although space is limited and participants must have a ticket to get in. And once again, the event is co-sponsored by Broward County’s Elderly and Veterans Services Division and the YMCA of South Florida.

For additional information and reservations, call Reverend Samuel Delevoe Park at 954-357-8801.

Recreation. Preservation. Education.
