Free Literary Expo at North Regional/BC Library on February 29th
  
  

BROWARD COUNTY, FLWriters and readers come together for a day of free literary growth through “Tell Your Story II. It’s Your Write!” from 10:30AM to 5:30PM on Saturday, February 29th at the North Regional/BC Library, 1100 Coconut Creek Boulevard, Coconut Creek, FL 33066, 954-201-2601. 

 Expo attendees can choose from a multitude of author-led workshops, attend a panel discussion and meet New York Times bestselling author Charles Todd following his talk. Everyone is invited to come dressed as their favorite literary character.

  • Writing the Private Investigator Character - Laura Burke

  • As Told to: Writing Narrated Stories - Harriet J. Ottenheimer, Ph.D.
  • Deadly Research: Writing True Crime - Patrick Kendrick
  • The Ins and Outs of Indie Publishing - David M. Wind
  • Effective Methods for Developing and Publishing a Literary Work - Victoria Noorzai
  • Structure in Fiction: The Three-Act Structure - Neil Plakcy
  • The Value of Sharing Personal Stories Using the Creativity of Audio and Podcasting - Tiffany Walker
  • A Romance Must Have Emotion - Tara L. Ames                                                                           

A panel discussion on “Why Rewrite?” features Beverly Friend, Ph.D.; Marjory Lyons, Ph.D.; Patrick O'Brien and Judy Weissman, Ph.D. and moderator Nancy Moskowitz.
