Happy Chinese New Year!

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Chinese New Year, which officially begins on January 25th and ends on February 4th, celebrates the beginning of new year on the traditional Chinese calendar. This year, spend it with us, as Broward County Library locations from Weston to Deerfield Beach host free events for all ages that honor this traditional Chinese holiday.

From children's storytimes to book discussions, we'll have something for all ages and interests, including a special Chinese Lucky Mandala craft at West Regional Library on January 16th from 1-5PM. Learn about the Chinese zodiac and traditional Chinese good luck ornaments at the the library's Creation Station. The event is free, but registration on Eventbrite is requested.
