- Nature center lecture series concludes with program on art -

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – The third and final monthly installment in the 2019 Family Fun Nature Series at Anne Kolb Nature Center (751 Sheridan St., Hollywood 33019; 954-357-5161) invites participants to explore “Art & Nature.” The long-running, recurring series has a history of providing families with a fun, affordable way to spend a Sunday afternoon learning about very different nature-related topics.

This month’s program is from 2 to 3:30PM on December 1st in the park’s Mangrove Hall. Led by artist and Friends of Anne Kolb volunteer Kathy Hinman, participants will learn about the connections between nature and art, then create their own nature-oriented artworks. A $2 donation is requested per lecture, to benefit the nature center’s Friends of Anne Kolb volunteer group, and preregistration is required a week in advance of each program.

For further information, call Anne Kolb at 954-357-5161, ext. 0.
