BROWARD COUNTY, FL - September is National Literacy Month, a time to encourage the young people in your life to go to the library, pick up a good book and explore new worlds. For younger students, it’s a great time to sit down together and read a book out loud. For adults, it's an opportunity to explore computer literacy by taking a free course in eMedia or online basics or improve your literacy and language skills at a book discussion or Spanish conversation course.
Whatever your age or interest, we'll be hosting free National Literacy Month events for all ages throughout September. Please see the attachment at the bottom of the page for a full list.
