South Regional/BC Library Presents Free 2nd Annual Kids' Maker Fest

BROWARD COUNTY, FL The free 2nd Annual Kids’ Maker Fest for children age five and up takes place from 11:30AM–5:30PM on Saturday, March 16th at South Regional/Broward College Library, 7300 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, 33024.

 Families are invited to come out and celebrate creativity and hands-on maker crafts!  Kids and families will get an opportunity to be inventive with a variety of activities, including building objects with everyday objects, mural making, chalk art, making marble mazes and lots more. Staff from the Creation Station, Broward County Library's community makerspace/gadget lab,will be on hand to demonstrate virtual reality technology, coding games, 3D pens and other exciting, new technology. 

The 2nd Annual Kids’ Maker Fest is the perfect time to get acquainted with unique library programs and exceptional resources available at the Creation Station. It's also an occasion for children and parents to make things together for pure enjoyment in a supportive setting.
