"This new service approach is designed to serve residents who do not currently have a Broward County Library card and to hopefully welcome new customers to our Broward County Library family," says Broward County Libraries Director Kelvin Watson. "We're always looking for new ways to overcome barriers to library service and make our resources available to everyone in the community."

Pop Up Library is powered by Baker & Taylor, one of the largest book, services and technology providers to public libraries. “When we developed Pop Up Library, our goal was to create a simple, easy to use tool that would help our library partners reach readers in their community, wherever they are.” explains Aman Kochar, EVP of Public Library Sales and Technology at Baker & Taylor. “We are thrilled Broward County has joined our Early Adopter Program and are honored to support them in improving outcomes in the community and removing barriers to access.”
