BROWARD COUNTY, FL - It's time to celebrate Caribbean culture, heritage and history at the annual Anancy Festival on Saturday, June 30th from 1-4PM at South Regional/Broward College Library, located at 7300 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. The Festival is free and open to the public.

The Anancy Festival will feature Caribbean and African cultural experiences including Melo Groove Steel orchestra, who in addition to performing, will provide a mini hands-on workshop, traditional ring games, song,  STEM activities, storytelling, arts & crafts, face painting, free refreshments and more.

The Anancy Festival is named for Anansi the Spider, the West African trickster of folklore. It's a celebration of Caribbean-American culture that's geared toward children and teens. The Festival provides a unique way for youngsters to learn about the cultural heritage and experience a rich collection of stories, music and dance.
