BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Springtime in Paris is the third in a series of exciting Destination Friday after-hours events for ages 21-plus at the
African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, located at 2650 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. Enjoy an elegant evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014. Experience the glamour of Paris through food, wine and specialty drinks (such as a "Paris Sunset," while supplies last), plus fun, fashion, live singing and dancing. Don't forget to dress up in the French vogue. Très chic!

Photographer Courtney A. Henderson of the University of Miami will display her landscape photography of Paris and discuss her time in France. Visit to see samples of her work. The Consulat Général de France à Miami is providing complimentary French guide books to attendees. Participants can also enjoy a fun video treat using green screen technology.

As each of these other Destination Fridays events approaches, the Library will provide more information about them and the opportunity to purchase tickets.
