BROWARD COUNTY, FL - In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Broward County Library will host four events and a photography exhibit, all free and open to the public.
Photographer Susan Buzzi will exhibit photographs of breast cancer survivors at the gallery six in Main Library,100 S Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 954-357-7444, from October 2-21, 2017. The youngest survivor photographed for the exhibition is 25 years old and the oldest is 100. Each photo is accompanied by the survivor's personal statement. Buzzi has photographed hundreds of survivors, their families and health care professionals and is the author of two books: i am a strong woman and Courage, Strength & Triumph.
