Broward County, FL - Broward County Transit will join the City of Hallandale Beach and community members in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the annual MLK Day Parade and Celebration. As part of the event, BCT will showcase a specially wrapped bus designed for the occasion, reinforcing the agency's commitment to unity, service, and connection while celebrating a day that brings the community together in remembrance and reflection.
What: Broward County Transit will participate in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade and Celebration in Hallandale Beach with a specially wrapped BCT bus honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The bus will be featured as part of the parade procession, highlighting BCT's commitment to community, service, and unity.
When: Monday, January 19, 2026
Parade begins at 10:00 a.m.
Where: The parade departs from BF James Park, travels south along NW 2nd Avenue, west on Hallandale Beach Boulevard, then north on NW 8th Avenue, and concludes at OB Johnson Park in Hallandale Beach.
