Cold Weather Emergency Advisory
  
- Shelter placement for the homeless on Thursday night, January 15th -
  
BROWARD COUNTY, FL -Broward County is expected to experience extremely low temperatures on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The County, in collaboration with local community partners, will shelter individuals and families experiencing homelessness.  

Homeless persons are advised to report to The Salvation Army for shelter placement at 5:30PM on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Dinner is optional and will be available at 4:30 PM.

Please notify homeless persons in your area of this advisement. Shelter beds will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited.  

If the weather forecast changes to predict warmer or colder conditions, cold weather emergency shelter nights may be canceled or extended.
