BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Transit (BCT) will adjust service beginning Sunday, October 26, 2025, to align service levels with current operating conditions and maintain consistency for customers across Broward County.
The service update includes the addition of a new Sunday service for Hillsboro Beach (Route 48) and schedule adjustments on 18 routes, including 1, 2, 4, 5, 14, 18, 19, 28, 34, 36, 40, 60, 62, 72, 81, 88, 101, and 441. As part of these updates, customers may see an average 11-minute increase in service frequency across the affected routes.
"BCT remains focused on providing safe and efficient transportation for our community," said Coree Cuff Lonergan, CEO/General Manager of Broward County Transit. "While we continue to address challenges related to our electric bus procurement and other fleet engine issues, these adjustments are necessary to sustain service quality and meet the needs of our customers."
Updated timetables will be available on BCT's official website at Broward.org/BCT, on the MyRide and SoFloGo apps, and through Customer Service at 954-357-8400. Passengers are strongly encouraged to review their route information in advance to plan accordingly and ensure a smooth transition.
