Broward County Transit Announces Public Meetings for Commuter Rail North
  
  

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Transit (BCT) is pleased to announce two public meetings regarding the highly anticipated Broward Commuter Rail (BCR) North project. This transformative commuter rail project will operate along the Florida East Coast Railway corridor between Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach, providing new options for congestion relief and fostering economic growth within the county. 

The public meetings will serve as a platform for community engagement, offering attendees the opportunity to review critical project elements, explore proposed stations, and share their feedback. Proposed station locations include Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Pompano Beach, and Deerfield Beach.

  • Date: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 
  • Time: 6:30 PM 
  • Location: Emma Lou Olsen Civic Center, 1801 NE 6th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060

Both meetings are open to the public and designed to ensure that Broward County residents and stakeholders remain informed and actively engaged in shaping the future of this significant project.
