BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Animal Care invites the community to give the ultimate gift this holiday season, a loving home for a shelter pet. During the "Holiday Hope - Empty the Shelters" adoption campaign, happening December 1-17, adoption fees will be covered by the Bissell Pet Foundation. All adopted pets will be fully vaccinated, sterilized and microchipped. Adoption hours are from 11 AM to 6 PM daily at Broward County Animal Care (2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL). Residents can view potential pet matches online.
"This holiday season, we're asking the community to step up as heroes for our shelter pets," said Doug Brightwell, Director of Broward County Animal Care. "Every adoption not only gives a pet a chance at happiness, but it also makes space for us to help even more animals in need. Let's come together to spread joy and love, one adoption at a time."
