BROWARD COUNTY, FL -
Help take care of some of Broward County's most vulnerable animals during the
height of kitten season, June through October. Kitten season is when many
mother cats birth their litters.
Kitten Care, a joint program between Broward County Animal
Care and Broward County Libraries, will teach attendees how to take care of abandoned
kittens they may find in their communities. This informational session will be
led by members of Animal Care's foster team at select library locations.
There will be live bottle-feeding demonstrations with real
kittens and opportunities to become a neonatal kitten foster parent. Kitten
Care sessions are as follows:

Broward County Animal Care is located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort
Lauderdale. Adopters can visit Broward.org/Animal to
preview available pets. Each adoptable dog is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and
microchipped. A Broward County license tag is also included. Animal Care is
