BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Library is pleased to announce that it is
expanding weekend service at 17 libraries effective April 24, 2022. "We are delighted to accommodate
the public with more weekend hours," says Broward County Library Director,
Allison Grubbs. "Fridays and Saturdays are popular times for events and
activities at local branches. We want people to use their neighborhood
libraries with maximum convenience and enjoyment." Effective Sunday, April 24, 2022, four more Broward County Library
locations will open on Sunday. An additional 13 branches
will begin opening on Saturday, for a total of 25 libraries now offering
Saturday hours. Regional branches and 30,000+ square-foot libraries are already open on Saturdays. Open
Saturdays from 10AM-6PM, beginning April 30, 2022: -Beach Branch, 3250 NE 2nd Street,
Pompano Beach, FL 33062 (Closed Mondays) Open
Sundays from 10AM-6PM, effective April 24, 2022: -Northwest Regional Library, 3151
N University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33065 -West Regional
Library, 8601 W Broward Blvd., Plantation, FL
33324 -South Regional/Broward
College Library, 7300 Pines Boulevard., Pembroke
Pines, FL 33024 -Stirling Road
Branch, 3151 Stirling Road, Hollywood, FL 33312 Information
