Grab On to the New Broward County Library Card!
- Design features clasped hands in Stronger Together message -

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Libraries is debuting a new library card design that symbolizes their "Stronger Together" diversity and inclusion philosophy, which is reflected in all aspects of their operation and in serving the public.

The new Broward County Library card design is a vibrant photo of hands clasped against the vivid color spectrum of the rainbow. The new cards will be available at all library locations in December 2021.

"Our public libraries are free, open, welcoming places, where everyone has value and a voice," says Broward County Library Director Allison Grubbs. "Here we embrace our cultural, generational, racial and identity differences as qualities that enhance us, rather than divide us. I'm proud to share this meaningful card design with our customers. I encourage you to visit us and get one of these new cards."

If you already have a valid Broward County Library card but want to change to the new design, the cost is $1.50 (please note that your library card number will change). New customers can select this design at no charge when registering for their first card. For more information on obtaining a Broward County Library card, please visit
