Public Hearing on Proposed Service Improvements for BCT Set for June 11

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Broward County Transit (BCT) is proposing fixed-route bus service improvements to routes 4, 12, 15, 16, 19, 23, 31, 55, 56, 62, 88, 101 and restoration of service on route 8. The proposed improvements will be funded by transportation surtax revenues, passed by voters on November 6, 2018.

The Broward County Commission will hold a public hearing at 10AM on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Broward County Governmental Center, Room 422, 115 South Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale to receive public input on the proposed fixed-route bus service improvements. If no revisions are made to the proposal, these route changes will become final and go into effect in the summer and fall of 2019.
