BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Broward County Transit (BCT) team will celebrate and say 'thank you' to customers with music, entertainment, refreshments, massages and prizes at various busy bus transfer locations on November 16, 17 and 18th.
BCT, iHeart radio stations, Broward County Cultural Division, FDOT and South Florida Commuter Services will join the festivities recognizing the importance of bus customers with musical entertainment, games and prizes. Celebrations will be held at Broward Central Terminal in Fort Lauderdale, at the Lauderhill transfer station, the Northeast Transit Center in Pompano Beach, and the West Regional Terminal in Plantation. BCT serves nearly 40 million customers each year and each person is appreciated!
"We want to express gratitude to our loyal customers who depend on us every day - or even those who ride once in a while," said Chris Walton, Broward County Transportation Director. "These events over three days in November will allow us to thank thousands of customers in person and gather their thoughts and suggestions so we can make improvements for them."
In addition to thanking customers for riding, BCT staff will be able to answer any questions customers may have, gather feedback and requests and provide timetables and system maps.
